Heating issues...
my red tail is kept in a custom-built tank that’s 6 feet long, three feet wide and three feet high, and i’m having a problem heating it properly. i’ve used the 250 watt ceramic bulbs, but i have a problem keeping them working. those damn things seem to break all-too frequently. what could i do differently? what can i do to stabilize the heat and keep my snake healthy?! please help!!

Heating issues... Look into radiant heat panels. They are the best things for large cages and don’t burn your snake, dont suck out the humidity and also cost much less in energy used. You wont be replacing it like those light bulbs.

Heating issues... Also, buy a GOOD thermostat! Like proproducts, Helix, johnson, ranco’s.... a good thermostat is worth its weight in gold.
