Colonelangus View Profile	San Diego Zoo visit I just got back from the San Diego Zoo ... And unfortunately, there was a huge lack of Red Tails there. They didnt have a single one. The only boas I saw were little rosies, and some Emerald Tree Boas... A while back I read that they had a big Suri who was close to 15’, supposedly the largest ever in captivity, but a herpetologist told me the big boa died about two years ago. They did have a big albino burm and some anacondas and a retic that were pretty big, but most of the collection was venomous snakes. Anyway, if you guys get the chance I definitely recommend checking it out for the venomous guys... King Cobras are pretty sweet to see face to face. And for you frog friends out there, there were some really awesome dart frogs on display b/c apparently 2008 is the yr of the frog. Is anyone in the southern Cali area that knows of any good zoos for herps? I really want to see more now.
