First off, how long have you had it? How long has it been since the last meal? What kind of cage do you have and what are the temps/humidity? Stuff like this helps determine why the snake might not be eating.
.
Also, and this is a biggie, if the snake is refusing meals, don’t try feeding it the following day. Give it another week or so. Repeatedly offering food will make things worse.

It’s probably scared try waiting till it is hiding. I know my baby female RTB was on live before we got her and she was a little hard to switch but once a week we tried till thought maybe she was a little scared she went over a month without food and once she was hiding I dangled it infrontof the hide she struck and drug it into her hide. I haven’t had a problem since. Hope that helps a bit!!

Not a good idea,That’s a last resort.Just wait it out,as long as you have it set up right it will take it.

Absolutely!!,some snakes will eat while in shed, and some Won’t.

I would be very surprised if the snake will not ever take F/T.I have had a lot of stubborn ones that made me wait it out,but i always get them to take it.Sure there are some that simply refuse and will starve themselves but those IMO are few and far between.Patients and persistence is all it takes.

Jason.

Yea kevim, I have now had my baby boa for 4 weeks now, and she has eaten 3 times. When they are hungry, well when my little guy is, he will stick his head out of his hide out. And when I seem him doing that, I go warm up a mouse, dangle it in front of him, and he usually grabs it and pulls it back into his hide lol. I haven’t gotten him feeding once every 7 days yet, mainly because this is my first snake, and I am learning his habits so I can predict him better, but he is almost eating every 7 days now! Anyways, since he just ate, wait another week, and then if he is in his hide but is awake, try dangling the food in front of him and he should take it again. :)
