NEVER leave family with your animals. I left my house yesterday morning and my cousin asked me if they could stay here so i said yes. For some stupid reason they went in my snake closet and turned on the space heater and killed two of my snakes. I’m VERY mad. my ball python is dead and my NEW male K.S.A. is dead. I must have yelled at them as loud as i could im surprised i still have my voice. Now i dont know what to do... |

if you had only been SUPER over protective from the beginning you would still have them all! I’m not trying to be rude so i apologize if I’m coming off this way. but simply putting a lock on the closet door, or even telling your cousin not to go in your snake room or letting him no if he uses the space heater to take it out the closet could have stopped this. once again I’m sorry it happened and we all make mistakes but its not right for our animals to suffer because of it. i don’t look at my snakes as pets, I LOOK AT THEM AS MY CHILDREN. and you wont leave your kids with anyone without laying down some ground rules. would you?  |
