well aside from the fact you should never let it wrap around your neck(just my opinion not trying to sound mean) it is a very nice looking snake.

My small female is about that size, maybe a little smaller, my big female is 8 ft, thats really when you don’t wanna let her wrap around you neck, I wouldn’t really worry to much at that size. She’s really preety, I like her color, my big female stayed grey.

Yeah, Mine are just slightly bigger than that now.

Agreed on the bad to let em wrap. If they get spooked...could be a pretty dangerous scenario. Right now you might be able to unwrap...another foot or so...and itll be a wrestling match you could loose easily. You’re awesome at takin the criticism well though, as it is meant not in any mean way, but to protect you...and it. Rescue workers wont use rubbing alcohol and unwind from the tail, they will kill it. We just wanna save you the Darwin award. Let it go to some schmuck!

I let mine go on my shoulder, but never wrap fully around.

Very beautiful and healthy looking snake. I’d say it’s clear you take good care of it, by the shine and its apparent comfort hangin out all mellow like on ya.

Not only can they wrap, but the weight of a larger boa is enough to put pressure on and cut off circulation to the carotid artery in a person’s neck. Not a good idea to get lulled into a false sense of security by letting them rest on your neck while young....you only have to make the mistake once when they’re older.
