Collection Pics (LOTS) - The Usual Suspects and New Additions !! HARDCORE DUW !!

Well, I was cleaning tanks today and it’s been a while since I posted any updated pics so ... here’s my snake collection. Not a huge one, but I’m proud of it. It consists of five boa constrictors and one corn snake.

Anyone good with mythology? :-)

First up ... the first girl I ever picked up ...

Artemis - ’07 Normal BCI 100% Het. Albino Female (she just ate yesterday so I did not handle her)

Look at the iridescent shine on this girl ... absolutely gorgeous. The vet has fallen in love with her because of it. The lighter is for size reference. She is at about the five foot range.

Her cage ... a 75 Gallon. It’s a bit bare because of an awesomely fun (sarcasm) episode of mites caused by an irresponsible friend of mine "taking care" of my snakes while I was gone.

Helios - ’08 Albino BCI (Kahl Strain) Male

His cage ... a 50 Gallon.

Rhea - ’06 Hog Island Boa Female (formely named Mama and also with a full belly and since she already has an attitude I was not pushing my luck. she had a really bad RI when I first got her and it took sixty days of treatment that involved a nebulizer and injecting medicine in her mouth twice a day. needless to say ... she is not a huge fan of us now.)

Her cage ... a 75 Gallon with a built in pool. Yes, I know there is ecoEarth in it.

Selene - ’09 Normal BCI DH Snow Female (Partial Circle Back Ladder Tail)

Her cage ... a 50 Gallon. Yes, I know it’s big. She has three hides in it. :-)

Osiris - ’08 Hypomelanistic BCI TH Moonglow Male

I LOVE how dark his head is. It’s a great contrast.

The tiny stripe on his tail is how I tell him apart from his sister.

His cage ... 20 Gallon Long.

Isis - ’08 Hypomelanistic BCI TH Moonglow Female

Her cage ... a 20 Gallon tall.

Gabriel - Snow Corn Snake Male

His cage ... 75 Gallon.

There. Enough of the picture flood. Lol
Enjoy, and let me know what you think!

Thanks for the compliments. I’ve been sticking to the mythology theme for them lately. Gabriel is really the only one without one ... mostly because when I got him, his name was Gabriella ... but I was convinced he was a male, not a female. So when it was confirmed, I just altered it to the masculine version of the name.

As for breeding, I do not currently breed and am not sure if I will in the future. It all depends on how I feel about the market and "homeless" snakes. For now, just a collector. :-)
