oh no the skulls are there. He will be going to schools and birthday parties so he needed a kid friendly name. lol. When you say mickey he has mickey mouse on him the kids, and most parents, get really excited and start to see then as animals and not just evil things.

ahh i see, good call on the name :) that’s great that you’ll be educating kids (and their parents) about snakes.

Wow, really sorry about the horrible spelling and grammer. I have been sick and was feeling really good with all the meds. LOL. Anyways, they are both great with the kids and Mickey is showing some amazing personality. Virginia took a few months to calm down but once she did it was great. I would recommend bringing them out in public to show people what they are about, and to explain that they are not good starter pets. I had one kid see Mickey with me and said he wanted one and his mom said OK and went to get a worker to help get him one. I then pulled out Virginia and she changed their minds. People don’t understand that those cute little snakes will grow up to be large and possibly dangerous animals that need respect. He ended up getting a corn snake and I saw him in the store with it last week telling people about it. I think education is the best thing anyone can do with their snakes. Plus seeing the reactions of the people is fun.
