You’ve had snakes before. This shouldn’t be hard at all. Do everything you have done before, just go bigger.

Just remember, one square foot of cage floor for every foot of snake. keep your humidity around 60%, temps - hot side high 80s - ambient of low to mid 80s. always feed prekilled or frozen thawed - don’t want your snake hurt by live prey. provide a hide and a large sturdy water dish. Good luck.

welcome to rescuing a boa. Sadly too many people get a cute little baby, and dont realize how big these guys really get.

Get yourself to a care sheet. There are some really good ones. Keeping the cage at the right humidity and heat is key. Invest in a decent thermometer/hydrometer for the health of your pet.
Be religious about enclosure cleaning to keep the bacterial load down- they get RIs easilly.

I have Iella in a 6’x2’x2’ enlosure and I am heating it with a 150 w che and a heat pad on one side. I am probably be going to adding a low wattage che to the cool end as well, because my cool end is only in the 70’s. Hope this helps.

The only thing I want to add to the advice that’s already been given, is not to let her wrap on your neck. It’s not a good practice to get into, you can easily get lulled into a false sense of security that she will not constrict...until the day something spooks her.

CP turned me onto these. I still dont have my big cage back that is being revamped, but Im going to give this a whirl to see how it heats! Link Sounds a whole lot safer than a CHE.
