 Vet appt. set for tomorrow

so my vet appointment is set for tomorrow at 3. I’ll let you guys know what the vet says. Just one thing. . .when she is in the cage and on the floor, she is super lathargic, hardly moves. But when she is in the bath, she moves around like crazy. Her appearance is weak, but she still has a good grip when she wants to hold on to something. What would you take from that??

Check your temps. Are you giving her a warm bath? Her lethargy could be she is cold. If she’s active in a warm bath, I would guess that is the case then. Could be anything though. She may just not like being in the bath. Or maybe she really likes her baths. Could be a host of things. Just see what the vet says.

yeah, I don’t know. her temps are right on. 90 on warm 80 on cool. She hasn’t even tried to use her hide though, it’s usually warmer in there ya know?? When I put her back in after the back, she will stay in the same spot for about 30-45min, then move a little. Since she is not using the hides, I just cover the front with a black blanket. . .I already have the sides and back covered with black foam board. Well, hopefully the vet will be able to get her well again. I have to admit, got a bit scared b/c I read about IBD that boas can sometimes get. Hope that’s not it. . .

Keep her in a room other than the one your other snakes are in.
Quarantine! Wash hands really really well after handling her and change clothes before handling other snakes.

My boas will stay in the same place all day, then move about some at night sometimes...boas are not THAT active. Especially if they are feeling under the weather.

The retained eyecaps are probably severely clouding her vision, and out in the open she probably feels vulnerable- and so she will be all tough and strong...then you get it back in the enclosure and its all..".ahhh warmth...ive been cold so long and...ahhhhh" would be my guess.
