 Quick Question

My baby red tail is scrapping right at about 3ft.. i was wondering about how big does he have to get to start on small rats??

Girth is more important than length here. You want to feed your boa prey that is approximately the same width as the boa at it’s thickest area. Without seeing your boa, I’m guessing that it could/should be able to take small rats with no problem by the time it reaches 3 feet.

Thanks and thats what i was guessing..! he’s healthy and all so i think in a couple more months im going to try to feed him a small rat...
