 Free snake possably

i adopted a female het albino redtail approx 3 years old at the moment. she is about 6+ feet. i cared for her as long as i can she is just too big and needs better food than i can provide. i never intended on haveing an animal this size but the other option my friend had was to take her to the pound and i couldent let that happen.

the reason its possable is a friend said he would pick her up but hasent shown up 3 times now im going to give him one last week. she needs a good home i live in bakersfield ca i cant afford to ship her so she is free to good home if he doesent come get her this week.

At risk of sounding really critical...
Really, you want him to ship a snake in winter? During snowstorms and rainstorms in unheated trucks?
Those little heat pads are fine for late spring and early fall- but really, reputable breeders dont ship this time of year for a reason. Especially for a large snake during a time of year many postal places are swamped and loose packages. (Ive been trying to get some stage makeup for two weeks now- the package is in limbo)
Someone in the Bakersfield area could try PMing him though, since that is where the OP says they live near- and its not that cold in California yet. (Crazy windy- but not snowy in most of the state)

Think before you act! From the sounds of it this snake could use a permanent, knowledgeable home where the new owner knows exactly what they are in for with a large boid.

i found a local home for her a man that has been breeding for 3 years i quized him and he passed my test. he has recently contacted me . she is doing really well. he told me she was a tiny bit under weight " wich i knew she out grew my ability to feed her properly"" remember i took her in to save her from the dog pound" he said she has put on some weight and has been a pleasure to add to his collection

Awesome job rehoming her when you realized you couldnt meet her needs. My comment about shipping her in winter was to the others who were offering to buy her if you shipped. Glad she found a good home, and that you cared about her enough to find her a good placement!

For the others who posted, the original post said where the snake was- in south central California. Shipping any animal in winter is not a bright idea.
