Your enclosure is a good size for any snake up to 8’ ... The bare basics are going to be heat and warmth....water ...a place to hide possibly.

I like radiant heat panels / Heat Projectors and UTH pads for my enclosures / larger snakes. I use newspaper or cypress mulch for bedding .... sometimes a towel changed weekly or sooner

I insist you get a temp gun like this anywhere you can

LLL Reptile

You will never regret using this instead of in accurate analog dials or aquarium strips that are crap at 2x the price.

Lights are strictly your decision ...they do not require specialized lamps to thrive.
Have you read the care sheets here on the RZ web site...

Have a seat and read a spell....ask any specific questions when you think of them.

ya i have read it, i just here different stories. like some say they love to climb, then i hear they are strictly ground dwelers. that is my main question. i went to lows and got a carpet cut to that lenght (yes it is a good carpet that wont bother his skin)

Yes they love to climb at this young age and even larger...my big girl will always seek higher ground if she can climb on something. I built a large branch for her to climb on ...

I forgot to mention moisture ....humidity is especially needed during the shedding phase...a humid hide works great for this. if you need to know how to make 1 just ask.

keep in mind it would be a good thing to have 2 of those carpets ...1 for spare as you clean and dry the other.
