 Update

Well, people usually show pictures of how long their rtb’s have grown. However, I am even more impressed in the girth my rtb has taken on since I have got him. I haven’t taken any real measurements, just looking by eye. Please keep in mind as well that just 48 hrs ago, he had his first large rat. Here are some pics.

Now here are some photos of when I first got him last November.

I just cant believe the difference. Keep in mind that in the first photo that is an adult mouse he is eating and he almost isn’t as thick as the mouse and now he is almost as thick as the bottle of Triple Black. Plus he is on adult rats now!!! OMG

I have had him on medium rats now for about the last 3 months. I thought that moving up to large rats was a bad idea as well, however I have always been told to feed your rtb the same girth as your snake, and well...... My snake is the same girth as a large rat. What does everyone else think? I want my snake to be as healthy as possible. From what you see does everyone think medium or large rats? Or small for that matter.

I appreciate the compliments. I have never had a problem with him yet. He has never hissed at me, struck at me, and eats EVERY time.

Nice Red-Tail, mine has some catching up to do, he is about 1-1.5 years old and 3.5-4 feet but he was not in great condition when I got him at the Michigan Rep. Show, he is very inseccure and needs to be supported at all times. When I first got him he was very agressive but now he is gentel and I have made a lot of progress on his insecureity and he is on small rats.
