 Black marks on snake since newspaper as substrait????????????

my snake has got mites as you mite already know and i have cleared out her viv and just put a bowl and newspaper for substrait, ever since iv changed it she has got black marks ubove her eyes and and on the tip of her nose.
could this be were shes stressed out due to the mites, coinsidently changeing her coulor a little bit or more likley do you think that its the news paper, and if it is will she shed it off.

I use newspaper for my Burm’s enclosure. She tends to get it on her while constrictor her F/K prey. It doesn’t affect them in any way, shape or form. It does come off with a shed.
