 What a relief for both

Jenna, my rtb finally took a dump today. I know in the wild, boas go a month, sometimes longer without doing that, but I started getting worried, I think its been at least a month, maybe longer. I switched her over to weaned rats from 5 rat fuzzies after some good advice from all of you, but then she quit pooing. I put her in the bath tub for about ten minutes. I went to throw somthing in the micro and came back to a small dog size pile in my bath tub. She is a little over 3 feet and about 9 months old. Could holding her poo in that long mean she’s not getting enough to eat? Or maybe because shes hitting her growth spurt and needs all the nutrients she can get.

well it definatly doesn’t mean she isn’t getting enough to eat. To tell you the truth i really don’t know why it happens. I have a yearling male that always had issues with that. When I noticed any swelling he went for a soak and it cleared right up but his environment was perfect temp and humidity wise.
