Boa rubbed scales off his back

y boa has just gone under my cupboard and scraped quite a lot of scales off the top of his back about 1/3 down the middle when he was squeezing himself through a gap.

I have rubbed baby oil over him now, should I be worried or is it not a problem at all

Never had this in the 2 years I have had him but he made a gash foir a hole under the cupboard and dragged himself through the hole scraping the top of the scales off his back

What should I do? Or will they just come back next shed??

Any help please??!!

I don’t know how safe baby oil is, but I’ve read all over this forum that you can safely apply Neosporin (without the pain killer) to the area. Scales do grow back, but it won’t happen the next shed. It takes time, just like it takes time for a cut or scrape to heal on humans. Hope I helped. :)
