A glass cage would work also, me and my husband both have ours in a glass cage. A rubbermaid i would think they could get out of easier then a glass cage.
Here is my Kain’s cage (before i redid it)

He has a different hide then that stupid cardboard one which he ruined in a day.
Make sure the cage has a warm side and a cool side. Warm side should be about 89-92 degrees and the cool side should be from 78-85. Make sure he/she has a shallow waterbowl and keep water in there at all times. You can get digital thermometers from walmart for both sides for just $6. I use a branch in his cage just because, in case he feels like climbing, they’re not climbers though. For bedding, you can use Aspen but make sure to change it frequently otherwise it can get dusty and can cause them to get sick like mine did or use papertowel. So, get two hides, one for each side of the cage. Once you get one, leave him be for a week before trying to feed or handle them. Don’t be surprised if they’re a little jumpy, specially as babies. GEt the cage set up a week or two before hand so you can maintain the right temps. You will only need a UTH for heat and make sure humidity is low. 20-30% humidity is fine for them, they don’t like it and it can make them sick. Any other questions?

20 to 30 % humidity. ok thats it. i cant take it any more. everyone has a different humidity % to suggest. ive heard, and i quote..." anything above 60% (their native range) is too high." then ive heard 50% is good. then of course 40%. i can tell you from living in southern california that humidity here especially around the costal areas is nowhere near as low as 20% maybe on top of the highest driest mountain there is. in the summer the average humidity % is 40 to 60% sometimes at night it can get to 65% but no more. the rest of the year humidity is at around 35 to 40% under 30% and id say you run the risk of drying out your rosy. remember in their natural habitat rosys also burrow to cool down where humidity is alot higher than at the surface. if your humidity is anywhere from 35 to 55% i would say you are good. even 60 but anything higher look into a dehumidifier or better air flow.

everything else i read here by coldblooded666 is perfect advise. good luck.

as far as rubbermade tubs. im looking into those as well. the snake should not escape but i am told the tubs tend to hold in humidity. so if you do get tubs ( and i think i will too) be sure to drill plenty of extra holes in it all the way around to better vent the air. flexwatt tape or ultratherm heat pads need to be used with a thermostat to prevent any hazards or over heating. are you putting the tubs into a rack? because that is what i pictured you talking about and that is what i am giving advise for. if you are just going to have the snake in the tub...go with the glass tank but if you have a rack system set up that will be good. usually you will have a rack so you can keep multiple snakes. you can buy premade racks with heat included all over the internet. look on kingsnake.com go to classifieds and click on cages and racks. good luck
