 Funny

So I’ve had a coastal rosy boa for about a year now. She used to be my sister’s, but she kept him in soaking wet soil with high humidity, so I bought a corn snake and traded her the corn snake for the boa.

The pace she bought her from guarenteed male, but she was just a baby. Yesterday, I got her sexed at the place my sister bought her from, and turns out "he" is a she!

I’m glad I found out, because I was just about to by "him" a girlfriend! That changes a lot of things.

Just thought it was funny how much people lie to you.

Here she is:

By the way, she’s only 29 inches. Will she get longer or is she just small? Or am I mistaken that rosy boas get 3 feet usually?

Aw, very pretty!
Our female may turn out to be a he which is really going to suck since then we’ll have two males instead of a male and female.

Rosy Boas do in fact get 3 feet long, sometimes longer in some cases!

She’s a costal, right? Just want to make sure I wasn’t lied to about that, too. Lol.

And should I feed her a little extra to help her grow more? I’d say she’s a year and a half old. She’s almost 2.5 feet.

Follow this link, it may help you. I’m not positive on her being a coastal but I hope this helps!

My fiancee and I feed our two once every other week. We feed them both one rat pup. Our male which I believe may either be a Arizona Desert or a San Gabriel is 2 and a half years old and is 2.5 feet. Our female (who may be male)limburg albino is about 3 years old and 3 feet long. I think she is growing well. I can post some pictures of ours if you would like to see them and compare.

You can buy one maybe but you’re NEVER going to find one in the wild in Oklahoma. They are only found in California, Arizona, Mexico, and a few other places. If you were to go to any of those places to look, you will likely need a license.

You probably won’t find one any cheaper than $75 unless you go to a Reptile Show and even then you may find one for about $55 if you get lucky.

Well then the best thing would be to get one shipped to you if you know no one at your show will have them for sale. I recommend the following:

Link

That is all Sean has for sale at the moment. You can also go to

Link

Here you will have to contact him to ask what he has for sale since he hasn’t updated his available page at all but I’m sure he has some nice ones.

A little advice first, RESEARCH RESEARCH RESEARCH before you even decide to buy anything.
