 Breeding Red Tail Boas

Do boas have eggs or live birth? I was told both and not sure what to prepare for. This will be my first time to breed snakes so any helpful information any one has to offer would be helpful.

I think there’s a kind of sand boa that lays eggs? I’m not sure. But the boas you are talking about definitely give live birth.

No, I think all Sand Boas give live birth. I’ve never heard of ANY boa laying eggs

Yes, Sara’s right, there are at least species of boa that lays eggs...

The Calabar Boa (Caslabaria reinhardtii), the Arabian Sand Boa (Eryx jayakari), and the West African Sand Boa (Eryx muelleri).
