Need a little help with my Rosy Boa’s
I have two rosy boa’s they are both about 24" long one female and one male. They have always been very healthy and eat well. About 2 months ago they began to regurgitate about two days after feeding. I talked to the pet store and they said you need to wait about 3 weeks after a regurgitation to allow them enough time to build back up enough bacteria in their system or they will just keep regurgitating. Well we have waited and waited and they still just regurgitate after eating. They hit the prey with in seconds of introducing it to them and have no problem eating them, they just won’t keep them down. Does anyone have any experience with this that can give me a little advice? |

Our female regurgitates sometimes. A lot of the time the meal is to big for her to keep down. You may start getting some smaller prey items and see what happens. The pet store was right though about waiting a while but really, you only need to wait about 2 weeks for their stomach acids to build back up. Then start small. What are you feeding them right now? |

Could you post pictures of the two of them as well as their enclosures? What are the temperatures on each side of the enclosure? Do they have any humidity in there at all? If they are at a good size, maybe stop feeding them for a week or two and then try again just to help with their acid build up again. |
