 HELP. how do you catch a loose gopher snake in hiding

my cat let my gopher snake out. my door is kept closed for this reason. he has done it befire. someone had left the room door open and he got in. i have an idea where he is. how do i lure him out. he hasent eaten for a bit so i know hes hungrey. i put a mouse in a box in the room hoping to lure him out.

Look in places that he could not possibly fit into. I once had a baby pine get out and I tore the place apart for three weeks looking for him. Then one day I saw him coiled on top of his cage, nonchalantly flickering his tongue at me wonderin why I hadn’t let him back in and fed him yet. About a year later, I was reading a magazine from the bookshelf about two feet from the cage and a little tiny snakeskin fell out of it.

haha. im glad you founs him lol

i kinda know where he is, he always goes there. i cant move the shelving unit though. there is a little cut out at the bottom so it fits around basemoulding. he gets in that way. i put the mouse in a box bc i know he hasent eaten in a while but he wont come out. last time he was out it was around 9, i just saw him strole right across the floor like he hadn’t done anything wrong lol. he was only out 24 hours that time though. this is the 3rd day hes out.

You can get amouse and blow the scent of the mouse into where he is hiding, or you can use the heatlamp and it will draw him out. You can also use water. I know mine hates water!
