 Please answer to Garter/bull

Hi, it’s me again. I just got a garter snake and I put it in thesame aquarium as my bull. The bull has only nudged it and treated it like it was a female so far. He is now 3 feet and 1" or so and this garter snake sleeps with him like he is the protector, ya know like the episodes of Tom and jerry where Jerry sleeps with the bulldog for protection. Right now my Bull, Donnie is in the shedding stage, where he can see anything so I don’t know if his treatment to the garter is mild til he can see. What do you guys and girls think

Two different species w/ different needs. I recommend getting seperate enclosers. Treat the bull as a bull & the garter as garter.
