 Just Nothing to Report . . .

My w/c Great Basin gopher was eating well but then shed and stopped (it’s only been a week, however, but usually they’re hungry after shedding), so I moved him to a cage by itself in a lower traffic area and we’ll see . . .

And unknown to me, his old cage had an infestation of tiny ants that I cleaned out last night when I discovered it; turns out this whole place has been infested (I just moved in last winter), and I’ve got about half a dozen of the new liquid bait traps set now and I’m engaging in insect warfare and genocide . . . Well, it’s making me a better housekeeper . . .

Not much else to report; my female Texas Bull was a yearling last year when I got her, and she’s getting big fast. I’ll probably be looking for a suitable male boyfriend for her next year . . .

A lot of people are on vacation in August, BTW . . .

You wanna hear about how many mice I’ve reared this summer? I don’t do white ones, but a couple have appeared among the babies and my nine-year old daughter keeps making pets of them . . .

That’s about all from Planet Utah . . . I lost my clutch of corn snake eggs this year because of incubator problems . . .
