Gomez Eats From Hand
My wc Pacific gopher Gomez eating her fuzzies from the palm of my hand. I’ve had her since April 11. She weighed about 30 grams when I brought her home, but now is 53 grams. I had thought she was a he, but my friend sexed some of my snakes and we learned that two of my gopher snakes (Gomez and Gonzo) are females. So I have three female gopher snakes and one male gopher snake; good odds for future breeding! |

Feeding my snakes is a very soothing mental pastime. It is almost a Zen thing, sitting still while the snake eats. I normally am a very restless person, so sitting still for any length of time is a challenge. The snakes help me reach a calm center. |
