I know the Northern Pine is found where you live, but those animals are probably really scarce (I’m not sure about legal protection but I hope there is some) and have suffered from nearly 400 years of contact with Europeans who’ve devastated their original habitat. Still, I’ve seen Northern Pines here offered for $100 (probably my next splurge since I love the stark contrast in colors). |

Here in Ohio, I see bulls, northern pines, and black pines at every show I go to, and there’s usually a few gophers as well. |
