 Gonzo Buzzes While Eating

Link
She was so excited to be eating recently she buzzed her tail on the side of the cardboard flat I feed her in.
She is now a hefty 170.3 grams. Today she didn’t buzz, but ate her mice with her usual gusto. Next feeding she gets prekilled hoppers; she is certainly big enough for that.

Winkle never buzzes while eating, but if I play with him too long and let him get all over-stimulated, then when I finally put him back in the cage he usually buzzes at me. That’s the only time he still does it.

 Gonzo Buzzes While Eating

My Pacific gopher Zumbida is a very buzzy character. When I first got her in March as a late fall hatchling she even pinched my hand. I had her in my lap with my hands covering her but not squeezing her, and I felt this funny little sensation on the heel of my hand; she was actually biting me, although not very hard! I use the cupped hands in lap technique with all the young snakes so they learn to not fear me; nothing bad is going to happen under my hands. She is much better now, but is still my buzziest snake, next to my Cali king, who buzzes in his feeding jar when he eats.
