 Rudicollis Cage in Progress

I posted this in the monitor forum, and now I’m posting it here. This is for a black roughneck monitor. It is made of plywood, and sealed with two part epoxy for garage floors and paintable caulking. It’s not done, but here’s my progress:

And here’s the lizard:

Thanks

The knobs on the outside are dimmer switches that control the lights.

Ambiguous: My rudicollis is NOT TAME! I probably should have made that point (lol). What happens is that he clings onto my hand tightly when I take him out of the enclosure. It definitely makes handling easier when I need to transport him, but I very rarely mess with him. I know they don’t like being touched, and I don’t want to add unnecessary stress if I can avoid it.

Thanks Mrman. It’s 4x2x5. Isn’t it amazing how much nicer a cage can look with some 1/4 round?

Yes Sir i agree that 1/4 round makes a big difference. Larry im going to make an attempt to make an enclosure useing the specs you provided, if i have any luck it will look half as good as yours, hopefully i’ll be moveing a pair of timors or ackies, have’nt made my mind or completed my research on them yet, which ever species i pick i want to make sure they will have a great home to come to, with that being said wish me luck and i will keep you guys posted on my progress.

(latter guys)
