 Exo-Terra Cages

I have the smallest opne, and I like it allot. Thing is, if you need higher humidity (klike I do for my tree frog) you absolutly have to cover at least part of the top with plastic wrap or plexiglass. THe only other thing I dont like that much is I have had some crickets escape throught the "closable wire holes". Any other specific questions? Also THere is a new zoomed cage out thats very similar, might be worth looking into. I think its kinda the next step up from exoterra.

Chameleons need humidity, but they also need ventilation. Consider getting a small fan to increase airflow.

Crickets should not be getting out through the holes. Mine don’t.
The zoomed "naturalistic terrarium" (that’s what they call it) has smaller wire holes, which means that stuff like the exo terra water fountain wires and stuff might not fit (big fat wires). It also does not come with a background, but you can get one for like $10.
I thought about getting a zoomed because they look just as good and they cost less but i found that the bottom front pane of glass is, i think, a little shorter than the exoterras, so it would look funny sitting next to two other exo terra tanks.

hte think i like about the zoomed cages is that the front s one solid door, not two. and the top can hold a heatlamp. The exoterra ones have a plastic bar so only the big ones can take a heatlamp ( I think)

Heat lamps come in different sizes.
They can fit on the exo terras. I use one uv light and one heat lamp normally for each unit.

with the big ones thats true, but a 5 1/2 inch dome wont fit on the small one.
