 Building New Enclosure Need Help

Hello people, I’m in the process of building a new enclosure and was wondering how to use UTH’s when the bottom of the enclosure is 1/4"inch plywood??? Thanks...

maybe u can put it on side where glass is? dunno,...just an idea or cuthole and put glass sheet there to attatch UTH to...like i said just ideas...any pics of enclosure?

home depot or loews sell glass in precut sheets, as small as 12"x12". plexiglass scratches easily and from my understanding can warp over time due to direct heat, not 100% sure on that but i certainly wouldnt take a chance with plexi when a sheet of glass is only a few bucks to begin with

Yeh it can work.

i have used heatmats with 1/2" contiboard. what about putting it inside the viv?

It will need to be stat’ed anyhow so shoudnt be any fire risk
