Food offerings? Don’t feed it to much gold fish cuz they can cause health problems with you caiman, every now and then wont hurt but try other species of fish more often, try pinky rats or fuzzy mice and crickets, and mazuri croc diet as a supplement, they need bones, not just meat, live or whole prey, you can use raw meat as a filler but they need to digest actuall bones as well. You can hold the mouse by th tail with tongs or some other holding device and gentle tap the caimans jaws until he bites it and back up and he might eat it or let a small mouse run free until the caiman hunts it down, my caiman wont hunt the mice, he only eats when I tap his jaws with the mouse but every now and then he give a head nod that he only does when he is hungry in a submissive way and I can hang the mouse above his head and he leaps and bites the mouse and eats it. Some times squirting thier jaws with a water bottle gently can trigger them to chew if they are being stubborn, Peace, I hope that helps.......

Food offerings? My guy is just over a foot long he is set up in a 90 g wide for the winter. Next summer I’m going to put him in a pool with chicken wire to hold him in. I tried feeding him raw steak last night. I put it on a rock and I got up this morning and it was gone, but I didn’t look too long. I’m going to go and try to get some pinky mice today and see if he will except those.
Thanks guys
