 Few questions ?

I just wanted to say Hey and thanks for all the help you guys and girls have given me ,

I have a few questions

I’m building my enclosure in my new place , I have a 300 plus gallon pond with a waterfall , does the depth of the pond really matter ?
I will put a log to float on and a few bigger rocks so that my dwarf caiman Genghis , can hide under and use to get out of the pond.

I’m building a large land area for him to roam, but would like to know what is the best thing to lay down , and how much is enough , couple of inches ? I know they like to dig so should I make one area deeper a foot or so ?

and how thick should the glass be for the viewing area ?

Thanks everyone and please check out my pics on my profile, I’m not sure how old my dwarf is he is 18 and a half inches vent to tail, he eats great , mice ,chicken , some gold fish, other fish, steak he eats better than I do, would like to see others pics and en closer

Thank and cheers
Dave

 Few questions ?

Dwarf caiman prefer shallow water and dont really swim to much even though they can swim they like to crawl along shallow beds or pirch or sit still on rocks, logs ect. But the water should be deep enough to submerge in........Peace
