 White spots ?

Hey guys , just a quick question, I have moved a couple of days
ago , I have noticed a few white spots on his skin, now I’m not sure if its just calcium powder from the meat I fed him , or if they get white spots like fish (ick) when stressed or temp drops, trying to find info if any one could help me out would appreciate any advice Rather be safe than sorry

Most likely it is from the water, tap water has lots of stuff in it, it shouldn’t harm the caiman but filtered water is always better of course for us and our pets........Peace P.S. this ussually happens when they dry off under the heat light and then you can see the hardened deposits........

Thanks yeah it turned out to be just that , I usually use filtered water but didn’t have any this time , there all gone now, thanks for your help, I just wanted to be safer than sorry ,

I would love to see some more pics of peoples enclosure’s I’m in the middle of building my new one , have a 300 gallon pond, but not sure if I should put sand in and how much sand so he can dig ? My dwarf caiman is only 18 inches snout to tail and my enclosure is 10 feet by 10 feet should be done in the next week or so ,
