 Best way to handle

what are some of the ways u guys handle them during enclosure clean ups and relocations and so forth

lasso to the mouth to shut the jaws? or what?

I dont tie mines jaws at all, once you got a firm hold around their neck you dont have to worry much about being bit. To grab him I used to put a hand towel over his head so he didnt see me coming. Now I just grab him free hand. I wouldnt recommend it though. Hes pretty fast and has caught me a few times. I have got better and havent got bit in some time now. Hes still small though, only about 16 inches. I probably wont free hand him forever but right now its not much of a problem.

I have seen videos of people tying their mouth closed but I dont think its needed. Just throw some cloth over its head and grab it, get a firm grip and transfer it to the holding tank till your done then do same to put it back.
