I have a spectacled caiman that is about 1.5 feet. I recently moved him out of his fish tank starter setup. He is now in a pond built into a platform setup that is about 75 to 100 gallons. The water is about 80 degrees F and the air is about the same and the basking spot is about 85 degrees F. His diet is rodents as the staple. I have seen him have the hair balls from the rodents in his tank but just before I moved him I noticed one ball that seemed clay like and was bright red and since i moved him I noticed one more, just one. Any ideas of what it could be. He still has the same attitude and before I moved him he was eating well but he has only been in his new setup two days so hes not eating yet still nervous i think. He is a scardy croc yet. I have to leave his food on the land and it has to get dark in order for him to eat lol. Any help would greatly be appreciated.
