Finally gettin a caiman?
Really your only choice is a dwarf caiman probably a Palp. They only get like 4-5 feet. Because even something like a spectacled which I have can get up to 8-9 eventually.

Finally gettin a caiman? Spectacled caimans are nice.... I had one a little awhile ago and she was a sweety.... Get a female and she won’t get any bigger then 1.5 meters... even the males wont get bigger then 2 meters....very rarely will they reach the size of 8 feet.. VERY RARE....IMO i’d go with the female.... but i’ll warn you that they do grow pretty fast... Mine had growth sperts here and there....... get her as a baby and handle her every day pretty much.... Also you can stunt the growth by keeping cooler temps and not feeding as much but i don’t normally suggest that...... GOOD LUCK

Finally gettin a caiman? Good to know that you don’t "normally suggest that . . ." I "normally don’t suggest" posting such dangerous info in manner which can certainly (and falsely) be interpreted as a viable husbandry option - especially in in forum known for young and impressionable members . . . Technically you could "stunt the growth" of baby human by employing similar techniques, I hope you don’t normally suggest that either . . .

Finally gettin a caiman? Depending on where you are in Canada I may be some help, Port Credit Reptiles sells baby caimans usually only sepctacled but it could be an option for you, if you are interested. Also they will clearly outline all information required to keep a caiman if you ask them. They are very good at what they do,I have bought a few reptiles from them without a problem. I have no experience with caimans and probably never will lol ill stick to my creepy crawlies, rather than something that could potentially eat me! But hopefully that helps.

Finally gettin a caiman? Also you could try The Reptile Store in Hamilton... The owner is Paul and he can tell you everything you need to know... He actually has a 4 foot caiman on display in the store. He also has a American as well on display....
Oh and HerpEsq Your a douche bag and you should go kill yourself... But I don’t normally suggest that
