Cost of a Dwarf Caiman My husband and I were considering purchasing a Caiman (we are unsure of the time) but I was wondering what a good price range for a young, captive bred, dwarf caiman is. A local pet store actually is currently carrying one, but he is asking $350 for it and I felt like that was a mark up. He seems to be pretty good with his reptiles, but I am still unsure about the purchase. I know there are no local breeders, so the cost of shipping such an animal is taken into consideration.

Cost of a Dwarf Caiman I had heard that and I even saw some bites earlier today. I don’t think we plan on getting one anytime soon, it was just with that one local we had gotten back into thinking about it. However, it would take some time to build the enclosure that we are thinking of for him/her.
Thanks

Cost of a Dwarf Caiman I saw some for $175.00 plus shipping at S&S Exotic Animals in Houston, Texas. They had both types, smooth fronted and wedge headed,(i.e. Cuviers and Schneiders). Check the classified ads on kingsnake.com.
