Smelly litter I just got a cat... never had one before. Can anyone recommend a good litter to help with the smell? I clean the litter box right after my cat uses it but the smell seems to linger... any ideas?
Thanks

Smelly litter We use Tidy Cat or Arm & Hammer scoopable variety for multiple cats even though we only have one. My husband lets his litter go for a week without any smelly issues. It also depends on where you place it. We had it in the basement where it was wet and humid and it stunk up pretty quickly. We then moved it to the playroom where it wasn’t wet and the smell stayed away.

Smelly litter Yea, i definately recommend the clumping variety-clay can stink up FAST-clay does nothing for odor in my experience-i use whatever is the "best of" on sale-tidy cat, fresh step-arm & hammer is good too-they just dont make boxes big enough for what qty i need-but the best by far is odor eaters brand found at petsmart-trust me-it really stands up to its name!
