 Kitten update and a question

I am back from vacation and the kitten is still here. I saw it five times today and tried to catch it three of those five times. No luck. Still trying though. I have a glove this time so the kitten does not bite me. (really don’t want a infected cat bite) It is still very afraid of people and runs on sight. Nothing important just an update.

How old is a cat at sexual maturity? Thanks

Oh, and to answer your question, cats can go into heat as early as 3 months of age. I’ve seen it : )

Just like people and every other animal, it varies, so she needs to be caught asap! Again, I’m hoping the woman will be able to come with a trap and help you catch her. I was really lucky to find her!

No problem. I figured a vet technician would be a great home for her. That way your parents don’t have to deal with paying for surgery/vaccines, etc. and she is more than willing to come pick her up or whatever works for you. She just really loves animals and wants to help!

Do you know her name or where her office is or the name of it? So I have some kind of idea of where shes comming from and some information. (so I can explain this to my parents)

Don’t worry, I would never share your info! What would I get out of that? Lol. I just want to help you out, here.

She is just finishing her technician training, so I don’t believe she is working in a clinic yet (though she could be), so I’ll ask her. I can ask where she’s in school, though. She wouldn’t even need to enter your house and could deal entirely with your parents if that makes you all more comfortable. She would just come with a trap if you haven’t already caught her and do her best to help you out. I am emailing her now and should hear a reply by tomorrow, so I’ll let you know then. Make sure to keep feeding the kitten so she stays close!
