 Goodbye little kitten

Today we caught the kitten in the trap. The vet took her and was going to begin socializing her right away. Although I am happy it is a bittersweet feeling seeing the little kitten go. I cant help but think I bonded with her. We found out it was a girl. I know she will be taken care of and have a loving home. This will be the last update.

Maybe the vet who took the kitten will let you help socialize her. Since she got to know you, it might help to see a familiar, kind friend. Then you can still see her.

You did a good thing in getting her help and not giving up. You saved her from a miserable (and likely short) life in the wild, and saved the hundreds of kittens that she and her offspring would have produced, from the same fate.

Congratulations! You’ve done your first rescue! Be careful though, it’s addicting. :) Once you start, you just can’t stop!

Lol. Congratulations! I’m SO glad it worked out! You just saved yourself from years of frustration and heartache with sick and wild kittens coming out your ears. Glad I could help : )

It sounded like the tech wants to keep the kitty, so I’m sure you could go visit if you want to.
