My cat 
i don’t think i’ve ever posted a pic of my cat sasha. this is actually a pic taken about 2 years ago. she is about 4 years old now. she was an spca rescue from hurricane katrina. she was really shy especially if anyone came over to our house. she never jumped on the furniture, did NOT get in your lap and would be aggressive at times if you were to mess with her too much. within the past year she has completely come out of her shell. her favorite spot to sleep is on the couch. she will get in your lap and sleep in the bed with me. she runs up to strangers now and demands attention. she is a completely different cat. oh, and by the way, she is very special because my husband is allergic to every cat he comes into contact with except her! kinda weird but true. so she is perfect for us!

she’s my first female cat i’ve ever had. there’s a huge difference between the girls and boys. i’ve noticed the boys tend to be more loving and needy. the girls are very independent and only will allow you to give affection on their terms. sasha can be nippy sometimes. she definitely bosses the dogs around!
