Has mom been to the vet? All the babies and mom should be taken in when the babies are 3-4 weeks old for a check up and wormings. Mom should be tested for FIV and feline leukemia before ANY babies are given away/adopted out.

Spay the mom!! Find out from the vet when the earliest time is safe for her to be spayed.

I’m not sure what you mean by "stages"...

They open their eyes around ten days of age. They start walking around at 2-3 weeks, and they are weaned at 5-6 weeks. They should NOT be separated from mom until they are 8 weeks of age.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE take mom and kittens to the vet! All of them will need vaccines and wormings, and mom needs to be spayed asap when the kittens are weaned! If they are not properly vaccinated they can and will contract very deadly and contagious upper respiratory diseases like distemper (panleukopenia), rhinotracheitis, calici virus, and Chlamydia. All four are common depending on your area and all four are very very deadly!

Where are you located? There are many spay/neuter programs where you can get all the kittens and mom spayed/neutered when the kittens are weaned for FREE if you give the kittens to the shelter to be placed for adoption into good homes. They usually also do discounted vaccines and such.
