 Getting a kitty from the shelter tomorrow!
i’ve always wanted a cat but my mom refused to let me get a pet that wasn’t in a cage. i’ve been vollenteering at the cat shelter for the past four or five months. My moms friend was getting a kitten from her friend and my mom decided that we could get one to. She was telling me the only reason we didn’t get one before was because of my baby sister but she is bigger now so she is really great with animals. so she asked her friend to ask the guy if he had any left and he didn’t, but my mom was still stuck on the cat idea so i went down to the cat shelter the next day to see if they had any that would fit what my mom was looking for. there is this little bengal cross and she is the sweetest thing ever and i know my mom would love her. i also love this black and white one but my mom doesn’t want to get a long haired cat, and there is this big huge brown cat but my mom wants a female and he’s not a female. So tomorrow my mom is going to the shelter first thing in the morning and adopting diosa! (the name that the little bengal came with). i can’t wait! i’m so excited because when i come home from school she’s going to be here. she is definetly still there and my mom was going to pick her up today but the shelter was closed. my siblings don’t even know about it they are going to be so happy! anyways just wanted to share. i don’t think i’ve been on this forum but who knows... while we’re at it you can add any photos of your cats, i’ll put some of diosa tomorrow

camera is NOT working so i can’t post any pics. but diosa is very happy hear :) she is really afraid of noise though and our house is normaly really loud and busy so she will probably get used to it. she will come out of her little kenal thingy and sniff around and when theres a noise (like dishes being put into the dishwasher) then she just darts back into the kenal. she is SO cute :) she likes to look out the window and just stare.
