Sneezing My cat has been sneezing almost constantly for the last couple of days. She’s rubbing her poor little nose really hard with her paw and her sneezes are one on top of the other. I don’t know what’s causing it because nothing new has been introduced to her that I know of. My only guess is that it’s dust. I can tell it’s really driving her crazy. If there’s anyway I can help her quit sneezing or something please tell me. She can hardly go 10 minutes without sneezing.

Sneezing Are you noticing more dust in your house than usual? Seems like there would have to be quite a noticeable amount (meaning it would bug you too) for your kitty to be so bothered when she doesn’t usually have allergies. Is there any discharge when she sneezes? And does it sound to you like she has phlegm in her lungs or anything? You should probably take her in to the vet!

Sneezing most of the time when cats have allergies they itch, where as people would sneeze. when cats start sneezing and acting like that it usually means they have an upper respiratory infection. or she could have a bad cold that will lead to an infection. it’s best to take her to the vet. i let my cat sneeze like that for a few days...i think about a week before i brought him in. it ended up being a pretty bad uri. i should’ve taken him in sooner. so, the sooner she’s on medicine, the sooner she will get better.

Sneezing well, i wish you good luck. hopefully you can get her in there before it turns really serious. if she hasn’t been vaccinated...it can be feline luckemia, feline immunodefficiency virus (aids) or other serious viruses. and even if it is just a cold, without treatment, it can turn into a deadly infection of pnuemonia. good luck and let us know what happens
