!!!!! Don’t they have security cmeras around there? They could see the persons face and ID him and arrest him. OMG I would hate to have that happen to my cats. Ya know, there was a "Chicken cerel killer" in my area... he would break into chicken coops and take one. Then he would put it in a bag and tie it off. He would then put the poor things in the road and let them be run over!

It makes me REALLY mad also. I wonder who could do that to animals. If they are like that, It might as well be their kids. It is just like abusing their kids and family. Whoever did that should be shot and I am a dedly aim when it comes to shooting.

Some people just hate animals I guess (which is really sad because I love animals.) One thing that is really common (let me worn you this is really sad) is they take kittens or puppies and put them in a gunny sack and drop them on the bottom of a river or lake so they drown or they throw them in the trash isn’t that pure evil.

yea it is.i cant take people that eet their animals. my sister had a teacher, that adopted a boxer, and the poor thing had smoke burns all over it. i guess the old owners used to put their smokes out on the dog, instead of in the ashtray.
very few thing pi$$ me off to the point where i’d hurt sumone. but hurting animals is a pet peeve. if i saw sumone hurting there animal, first i’d attack them, like they attacked their poor harmless pets, then chances are, well i cant say the rest, alot of people wouldnt like it... but the point is, there should be better laws agains hurting animals

This is really sad...One time my grandma was having a garage sale and someone said they haerd a puppy crying. We went out to look for it and we found id in the neighbor’s orchard. The pup was most likely thrown out of a car window from the burns on him. He also had internal bleeding. The pound came and had to put the poor thing down...

Why do people have to be so cruel? I mean, they did the right thing by taking the kittens to the spca, but a rubbermaid tub w/o airholes?????? I have a couple stories. First one happened about 3 months ago. I was starting to close down the groomshop at petsmart when my bather came running back from the main store. She had in her hand a small pomeranian mix puppy. It was so cute! I asked where she got it and she said that someone had put a whole box full of them in one of the shopping carts, wheeled it into the store and then just left!!!!! The employees outside on break watched it happen, but by the time they realized what was going on, the people had gotten in their car and left the parking lot. The employees got together and found homes for all 10 puppies, but how could they just leave them?
A couple weeks later we had someone leave 2 pitt puppies sitting in a plastic bucket in the middle of the parking lot. We once again were able to find homes, but it had been 100 degrees that day, probably twice that on the blacktop! Then there was the kitten that I fostered for my vet. She was a cute little gray tabby that was maybe 2 weeks old. one of the kennel technicians had found her in front of the doors when she showed up for work that morning. she was inside a brown paper bag with the top stapled shut. I volunteered to foster her until she was old enough for them to find a home for. When I gave her back, they named her Phoebe and she was adopted within a week.
But this is the most heartbreaking story that I can think of right now. This happened to my mom and grandpa about 30-35 years ago. My grandpa used to go fishing at part of the river that was close to a highway. He was there one day when he heard a dog crying. He looked around for a minute until he could tell what direction it was coming from. He then packed up his stuff and went home. When talking to my grandma he mentioned what had happened. He made sure that my mom was in earshot of what he was saying, because he knew she would go check it out. When she got to the place where he had told her to look, she found a black trashbag with the top tied shut. It looked like it had been thrown from a car going down the highway. She still heard the crying so she ripped the back open. Inside she found a german shepherd puppy! He was filthy and covered in feces, fleas and ticks! He also couldn’t walk. She immediately picked him up and took him to the vet. Not only was he anemic from all of the parasites, but his legs were broken. Probably from when he was thrown. How can people do this to a poor defensless animal?????? What had he done to deserve to be treated like this??????? This story does have a good ending, though. My mom and grandpa had the vet treat him. They got him cleaned, took care of his anemia, and fixed his broken legs. They thought about finding his owner to return him, but decided against it because the owner was the one that did this and a person like that didn’t deserve to have him back. So they kept him and named him Brutus, and to this day say that he was one of the best german shepherds that ever lived. The ones that know they’ve been rescued usually turn out to be the best. I think they know they’ve been saved. As the bible says, "an eye for an eye, tooth for a tooth...." people who do things like this should have the same thing done to them.

i completly agree. wen i was visting my dad, i used to bring faith to the store with us,wen we went shopping, and this one day, this person that worked at the store said sumone threw a rotty pup in the store and ran.nuthn was wrong with it,but they just threw it away. i dont see how people canbe so cruel.i guess watchn movies where pets get hurt wen i was younger rubbed off on me,cuz when it comes to humans,i got practically no feelings for them. but if an animal gets hurts,i feel like crap, mostly ashamed to be human. like if i here sumthing bad hapened to sumone on the news, i dont even care,(inless it happened to a kid,or had to do with rape),but anything about n animal just tears at my heart. maybe im cold hearted, but looking at human history of how people treat animals, wild or house pet, makes me hate the human race, but if i ever saw sumone actually hurting their pet in front on me...well lets just say theyed witness my temperment close up.lol

 So sad, and maddening!!!!

A few years ago, I was at a country park with my then boyfriend. I kept hearing a puppy cry and had a strange feeling about it. Back in the woods is a huge pond and there are always stories of puppies and kittens going in. I went home, changed and grabbed towels and a flashlight. It wasnt too hard to find her, when she heard my voice the crying got much louder. It was just getting through all of the underbrush. I really thought a larger dog, beagle in particular had gotten away from someone on a walk and was tangled up somewhere because she was very loud. After about an hour I found a soaking wet lab mix puppy, bearly a month old, clinging to the bank of the pond. I bawled. Its really an undescribable feeling. I knew she hadn’t been accidentally lost, and to prove it to myself I went door to door for about a three mile radius of the park the next day. So she stayed with me untill I could adopt her out to a very good family for her. I had her till she was about four months old. I’ll never regret the days it took me to pick all of the cockleburs and spiny seeds out of the clothes I’d been wearing.
