 Is a millipede a good pet?

My teacher has a millipede and he is so cool. He feels so neat climbing on me. What du i need to have my own? Are they really good pets?

they are great pets. the classic african giant black millipedes are very hardy. provided u dont’ live someplace hideously cold the minimum you need to start is a large plastic tub to keep it in, some substrate (dirt stuff) (coconut fiber is great, find at virtually any petstore), a waterdish (i use lids to jars of stuff i used up), and a millipede.

i personally prefer centipedes... but to each their own :)

yes they are good pets to keep they are quiet and they mostly come out at night so you can stay up and watch all night so your not missing anything through the day the noise of the feet on the wood is relaxing at night
