Help Veiled is dying!! 56k Beware [Big Pics]

We’ve had him for about 2 years, and I admit I’m not the most keen when it comes to chammies. He has recently vacated to the bottom of his cage and he seems very, very weak, I notices that his stool was white/yellow, and I’ve heard this stems from dehydration. I’am afraid to pick him up because he has had a history of MBD and he was nursed back to health (now we make sure he gets all his calcium.) What can I do to help him a.s.a.p.

P.S. His heat lamp has been moved near the bottom of the cage to accommodate him.

P.P.S. WE haven’t the funds for a vet. :(

this is his poo :S

This is his cage

This is how hes been hiding

I’ve also included pics of his stool, him and where he has been staying for the past few days[Image][/Image]

I’m sorry to say he looks extremely ill and yes, dying.
The MBD is quite advanced and he’s very thin. It’s difficult to tell from the pic, but if he’s been in a bird cage for two years, he’s probably suffering long-term effects of not only progressive MBD, but liver/kidney damage from dehydration & improper humidity. Even though the pic of his urate is white (which is good), there is no brown fecal matter in his waste, which is not good.

Unfortunately, I’m fairly positive there is nothing you can do at this point. He’s probably going to die very soon.
How have you been providing humidity and his drinking water for two years?
How often is he fed and with what feeders (and how many per feeding)?
What kind of UVB have you been providing for two years? How often have you changed the UVB bulb in that time?
What are the temps you’ve kept him at for 2 years?

I’m sorry to be blunt, but if you have owned this cham for 2 years, you should be pretty darn keen on what his (or any other creature’s) needs are by now, especially since you haven’t the funds for a vet visit. More than anything, I’m sorry for the suffering this cham has had to endure.

Many people do not realize that MBD is not solely caused by lack of supplementation. It can also be caused by poor cage temperatures/humidity which prevent the animal from processing nutrients. What are the temps/humidity in the cage?
