 What type of chameleon to get?

Hi everyone. I want to get a chameleon and I was wandering what type should I get? I am looking at getting a Pygmy Leaf Chameleon. Is that a good starter Chameleon to get?

while pygmies are a hardy species ( if you get a young captive bred animal), i would recommend going for something that is more forgiving of beginner mistakes, like a Veiled.

pygmies are great if you have the experience. granted, i started with the pygmies.

But, i have also had to learn the hard way through MANY a trial and error, the correct way to care for these guys.. i still wouldnt suggest them for a beginner.

although, its your decision.
