I’m new to chameleons and I would like some info.

Hi , I’m new here and I am thinking about buying a chameleon. I have done some research on the care for chameleons, especally veiled , and I was wondering where to get addiontional infromation on the care for Veiled Chameleons . I was also wondering if there is a good reptile breeder where I could get a baby chameleon?

Hi! Welcome to the wonderfully addictive world of chameleons and a very time and care intensive animal. I strongly recommend FL Chams for your new pet. Their website has some great information. If you go to my profile here you can link to my website that has some good info and a great total link to Veiled chameleon care! Good Luck!

Good vields are the best to start with. They are tropical so humidity should be 60% They are primarly
insectivors but may eat plants. Will not drink out off standing dish so you will need a dripper to drip water on the leves of the plant(s) you will have in the cage with it. Never house two chamelons in the same cage together unless your planning to breed and know what to do but thats even more difficult.
Chamelons are for looks not to take out and play with. They can easly be stressed out by handiling
change in envorment, temp, ect , so it’s very important that you keep every thing constant . the same
make the habitate and DO NOT CHANGE ANYTHING!!! ok . I you do want to change the habitate do it
little by little. It is fine if you do drastic changes once every while but not every other week.
I would Know. My vield died from stress. So don’t make the mastke i made ok.

Oh yea, heres a link>Vield Chameolon
