 What happened?

i looked at my basking veild and he was doing fine and alert one minute, but the next minute i saw him bobbing his head up and down and staring at one particular spot in the room where my snakes and leopard gekos are. i expected him to look at me because i was very close to the cage but he just kept staring and bobbing his head. i got really frightened and worried so i waved my hand at the veild’s face and nothing happened so i rubbed my finger on his back and picked him up, then a few seconds later he went back to normal, although his coloring was brown and he quickly climed up my arm. what happened to the veild? was he asleep or not moving because he saw a predator? please help!

From what I have researched and was told, there should be no other animals in the viewing area of your cham. They are easily stressed out, and can even get stressed out by their own reflection. Too much stress can and will effect the health of your cham. My suggestion is to either move your cham’s cage, or to move the other animals out of the way of your cham’s sight.
