 Shedding

My male veiled cham might be having trouble shedding...it appears that only his dorsal side has shed. there is a very thin line which is very hard to see where it looks like the shedding has stopped. and now he is starting to shed again starting on the back close to the tail. the basking temp is close to 100f at its very highest point and the humidity never goes below 50%. I am using a 18’’ repti-glow 5.0, a red heat lamp 250w which is suspended about a foot and a half above his basking area and I also have a repti-glow 5.0 screw in light bulb close to he basking area. He seems to be eating really good, yesterday he ate a small mouse and last week an anole...both bought from the pet store. I also feed him crickets as a staple, dusted with cal D3...I think i am doing ok but this problem is kinda bothering me. can anyone help with this before I have to go to the vet? I do realize however that bringing him to the vet would be the wisest choice. Here in norhtern canada the weather here today is only +3 degrees C...very cold, I dont want to move him if I dont have too.

 Shedding

The older they get the longer it takes them to shed. It can go on for weeks, or in sections. As long as your humidity is OK and all else is well I wouldn’t worry too much.
